About Us
Todd E. Pendleton and John E. Pendleton are brothers. Todd was born April 10, 1943, and died February 4, 2015. John was born October 2, 1946. Both brothers were born in Washington, D.C., and have lived in the Washington, D.C. area for their entire lives, with the exception of John E. Pendleton, who lived in Mainz, Germany for two years serving in the United States Army. All the art work of Todd E. Pendleton and John E. Pendleton was composed and fabricated by the artists themselves.

Regarding the 1965 regional exhibition at the Corcoran Gallery: "In the sculpture section, the welded steel pieces of Todd Pendleton, which recall the work of Jason Seely, out shone all other entries" ("Arts Magazine", December 1965).
Todd E. Pendleton's work was selected by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (H.U.D.), Washington, D.C., for inclusion in the National Community Art Competition Publications for interior and exterior sculpture for public buildings.
In the summer of 1974, Radio Free Europe made a taped interview with Todd E. Pendleton concerning the description of his work and medium and his basic philosophies about structuralist sculpture.
Todd E. Pendleton's sculptures are in private collections all over the world.
